The last and only post was on 14th June; so its just over 7 months now. I wasn't sure if i even remember the correct username and passwd, some permutations for 5-10 mins and finally i was in. So why this urge to write again?? Last time this feeling came when i had nothing to do in office, thankfully (thankfully?? uh) this time the situation is better. I do have some good work, but just looking for a break. <br /> <br />The last 7 months of job have been a good ride - from moments of frustration to moments of satisfaction; moments of nothing to do to moments of spending >12 hrs in office; moments when u feel like learning everything around to moments where u feel let life go on the way it is; moments where u look at the MBA option to moments where u feel when should be the next SWITCH :). Welcome Ashutosh to the life of Software Engineer. But till when is this charm going to continue?? Only if i knew. <br /> <br />Saw a movie in theatre after a long time - a month. Well, thats supposed to be a big time for a s/w engnr. Last one was Polap Express, and must say was a good experience, 1st 3-D movie that i saw. But I expected the graphics to be a little better. This one was PAGE-3. Movie about the lifes of the whos who of a city - mumbai to be more specific. Man, how do i spend my time here? I have already finished all the newspapers of the day sitting in the entertainment room ( I even read The Hindu !!!, can't believe it), sick of making rounds to the cafeteria for that cappucchino (did i spell that correctly??) i don't feel like smelling now. <br /> <br /> What next? Ryze? That comes as a nice passtime for half an hour, then what? Orkut? That sucks to me, wonder how my frinds like it? Yahoo and Msn are already a passe and ppl on my list do seem to have work in office. Man its not even lunch time ... wait a second ... heard from Manas that he and Arpit have been blogging recently at blogspot. Lemme check out what it looks like. And,so a nice 15 minutes at http://maximuminsanity.blogspot.com and http://nd4spd.blogspot.com . Man, this sounds interesting, and there is already a club started by these two which perfectly classifies my current state, the ETU (Extra Time Utilization) Club. Just in case you are dumb enuf not to make out what it means check out the page of Manas. Assuming, the reader actually cared to go thru the blogs of these two ,and ofcourse assuming that someone is actually reading this post (ain't that too big an assumption???), i maynot have gone thru all those levels, but have definitely passed level 4 and level 5, and looking for something new. Lets try this out. Dunno where i'll go from here and how long i'll stay at this level 5 of ETU. But am definitely here till i have to spend time in this office finishing my internship. <br /> <br /> Well its almost lunch time now and then just got a mail frm my lead that i prepare a technical document of my work before i leave. Technical document?? What the hell is that? Guess another piece of crap like this post. Anyways, i better be leaving now.
